On May 7th, I arrived at the Modern Art Hotel at 3:30pm, just an hour and a half before the show started. I had the pleasure of participating in Modern Art 2015, collaborating with fellow local photographer Ryan Allan Cheatham as we explored the concept of Identity in Boise. We ran a "photo booth" with a 4x5" large format camera. We then developed the rc paper negatives in the makeshift dark room in the bathroom, and then proceeded to hang them up to dry as they were finished, resulting in a wall of growing identities. We also presented individual work for the public. It was an honor to work with a great friend and artist, and to be able to showcase my work to the larger Boise art community. I hope to be back next year!
